Happy New Year and a Status Report

I hope everyone is having a lovely 2026 so far and that we’re all finding ways to cope with the onslaught of local and world events. Indeed  I am revising Bound In Smoke. However, on January 1, I broke my fibula in a fall (the non-weight-bearing bone in the calf) I suppose if you’re going […]

Happy New Year!

Happy 2026 to everyone on the Gregorian calendar. May the year bring us justice, fairness, and finished books. Freddie the Macaw says Happy New Year! What are your hopes for the New Year?

The Current State of Contacting Me

The deluge of AI spam coming my way (and indeed to every other author out there) is usually gushing comments about one of my books followed by book club blah blah blah marketing blah. Bound In Smoke is back from my editor so I will be working on those edits in the coming days. I have some time off coming so I am hoping to get a lot done. He had some great feedback that I am excited to get to work on.

We knew this moment was coming, but the time between her consultation with her medical team and her passing was shockingly short. I am grateful that […]

Tonda Fuller (Isobel Carr)

My good friend of many years, Tonda Fuller, passed away today. As many of you know, she had been battling an aggressive cancer. She was surrounded by friends and family, and I am beyond grateful for that. We were writing buddies and personal friends. She came up to Sonoma County regularly to get together with […]
