Snatchers: A Father’s Story

Is set in the beginning. Written in first person, this story is based in Glasgow and follows one man’s anguish to get to his daughter and keep her safe. James wakes up to find that the world has plunged into chaos, but his daughter is stuck in the city centre and he goes on a dangerous mission to get her home safe.

This roller coaster ride of a story just shows the lengths of what a father would do to make sure that their child is safe.

But will it work out for the father, and will he get to his daughter and return to his home safe?

The Girl with the Flying Saucer Eyes.

After six months into the zombie apocalypse, Shaun Peterson is at the end of his tether, mentally drained and hungry. He hasn't seen his wife and kids since they went out the days it of the announcement

Hiding from the new and horrific world, Shaun decides to scavenge from his neighbours, now has no choice, but with little success. He then comes across a little girl in his garden. She's dead, one of the dead, but being starved of company for months, Shaun decides not to kill her. His life changes a day later when another female turns up, a living one this time, and both get acquainted.

Eventually, after meeting up with another survivor, the painful decision of leaving his family home is something that has to be done. But Shaun Peterson leaving his home turns out to be the least of his worries.

The Z Word

Unemployed John Pope has been spending his time drinking, and generally wasting his life away ever since he had lost his job. A walk to the shops makes him realise that suddenly the world has turned into a macabre place, something he has only seen in the movies.

It appears that there is a zombie outbreak in England and John takes a while to realise that this is no joke.

John meets up with Clare Conway and Kelly Barrett, people he has taken in, and they spend a few days barricaded in John's home, knowing that sooner or later, the zombies will come. But what will they do then? And will they try and find new pastures, somewhere safer?

I enjoyed this and all my reading options

Another self explanatory kindle unlimited write. Bad writing. Goofy, awkward, nonsense metaphors and similes liberally sprinkled convoluted word use. "Galloped down the stairs"; "my breath smelled like an old bums c#ck". What drivel...

Three stories set in a world of Zombies. Enough twists and fright s to keep you reading. You want to know how the characters get on and their stories before the end of the books. Definitely makes you want to read the rest.
