Penny did not have a tail. You see, when a mysterious travelling salesman called Mr Fitz came to the village of Sandwich selling his fabulous formula, Penny did not drink it. She also managed to stop Earl, the village idiot, from drinking it too. So when a dragon invaded the village, enslaved all the animal villagers and forced Penny and Earl to make it twenty lasagne's every day (as they were they only villagers left with thumbs and fingers), they decided that they should do something about it.
